A decent option for beginners, both children and adults to learn lawn tennis. Located beside Gate No.2 of the Vivekananda Yuva Bharati Krirangan (Salt Lake Stadium). There is a gym and a sports goods shop on the campus. There is also space for parking self driven cars inside. New aspirants might need to wait for months before being enrolled due to the long waiting list.

Good infrastructure, I think it is one of the best in West Bengal...4 courts + 2 mini courts..I doubt whether there is any such in entire Bengal..only a few states might be having such infra. However, huge scope lies in improvement in coaching techniques coupled with better coaches.

The BTA Complex was inaugurated in March, 2003 followed by an ITF Futures Tournament. The Complex was offered through a ‘Lease Agreement’ by the West Bengal Government through the untiring efforts of Late Manik Goswami, who was the then Hony. Secretary of the Association and the present President Mr. Hironmoy Chatterjee.

Has a very good infrastructure with 5-6 tennis courts. Various schemes are there though which someone can take admission and play tennis here.

The City of Joy has been a proud promoter of Arts and Sports and after the promotion of Wimbledon Tennis, many people have aspired to turn professional following their icon. BTA (Bengal Tennis Association) was born to cater to such a need and by the Blessings of the government have 6 Hard courts for training and tournaments too, located at the North East end of Our prestigious Salt Lake Stadium. Within the complex there is car parking space for 15 to 20 cars and an adjoining Canteen. The staffs are very helpful and the coaches can be heard goading their wards to play harder and faster. On the first floor their is a viewing gallery where parents keenly watch their child following their dreams.
